Exercise can help shape your body, tone you up, keep you fit and healthy, prevent disease and keep you mentally as well as physically sharp, But nutrition shouldn't be overlooked. Just because you train well, doesn't mean you can eat everything and anything.
 
Diet is SO important. So today I'm going to give you  5 Simple Nutrition Rules for staying lean.
 
Rule #1 - Eat more vegetables - You can eat unlimited amounts of green veg especially.
 
Rule #2 - Eat protein at every meal - Fish/Chicken/Tofu/Turkey etc.
 
Rule #3 - Snack on nuts but NOT peanuts they contain 27 fat by products! Try cashews/macadamia/almonds/mixed nuts/seeds but remember nuts are high in calories so only have a handful not the whole packet.
 
Rule #4 - Go easy on fruit - fruit contains natural sugar so will give you a high...followed by a low. Choose berries over bananas.
 
Rule #5 - Try and eat every 3 -4 hours even if its a handful of nuts or a boiled egg.
